This year has been a highly productive and busy one for the Fine Arts Department. The Magee Art Department was selected to exhibit students' work during the Olympics at the Vancouver School Board office. This presentation showcased the diverse and substantial talents of our Grade Eight Artists through to our brilliant Grade 12s. This show was extremely well received with many positive comments, interest and enquiries. Furthermore, we were very well represented with several art displays during the Canadian Art Teachers Association conference in October, catching the eye (and envy) of Art Educators from right across the country! Ms Smith and Ms Richardson are delighted to congratulate the considerable number of Grade Twelve Artists who have already received early admittance to many different prestigious Art Schools in Canada and the US. Well done! Make sure to mark May 27th on your calendar, as this will be the evening of our famous and much anticipated school wide Art Show! The Fine Arts Department promises a wonderful evening of live musical entertainment from our illustrious Music Department, delicious food and FABULOUS Art representing each and every Magee Art Student. This evening of the Arts will be filled with delights for all of your senses! See you at Magee on May 27th from 6 to 8 pm.
